Where can I buy a Mr Trampoline in Melbourne, Sydney or anywhere in Australia?
Straight from the people who make it. Our factory is at 966–968 Dandenong Road, Carnegie, open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. All four standard sizes are in stock in green or blue, so you can pick one up the same day. Not in Melbourne? We typically ship next business day, anywhere in Australia, with a live freight quote for your postcode. Need a size we don’t list? We make that too.
Can I just come to the factory and pick one up?
Please do. It’s our favourite way to sell a trampoline.
Every standard size (Family, Family Elite, Olympic and Olympic Elite) is on the shelf in green or blue, so you can choose it, pay for it and take it home the same day. While you’re here, watch a bed being strung by hand on our looms. Come for the trampoline, stay for the looms.
- Where: 966–968 Dandenong Road, Carnegie VIC 3163.
- When: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- Before you leave home: a quick call on (03) 9571 5711 means someone can meet you on the floor.
- Parking: arrive via Dandenong Road. If you’re bringing a trailer or a large vehicle, call ahead and we’ll tell you the easiest way in.
- Bring: your postcode, a rough measurement of the yard or a few photos, and whether you’re leaning towards in-ground, deck or above-ground.
“When we went to pick up our trampoline from the factory in Melbourne, the owner dropped everything he was doing and walked us around the plant.” (Bill Warrick, Google review)
What if I need a size you don't list?
Absolutely we do. A large share of what we build is custom: frames and beds made to fit, for backyards as well as venues. Odd-shaped yard, a deck that’s already built, or an old frame that deserves a new bed? Tell us the space, and we’ll work it out with you.
- Custom-size frames and beds for homes and commercial projects.
- Beds made to fit almost any rectangular frame, including makes that stopped trading years ago. We hold priced patterns for nine common sizes. For anything else, send us four measurements or a photo of a corner.
- Other colours. Green and blue are stock. Any other colour is woven to order.
Custom work is made to order, so we confirm the build time when you order.
“Went above and beyond to help us with a non standard size and installation.” (Craig Rundell, Google review)
Is it really Australian made, by hand?
Yes. We’ve been at it on the same Melbourne site since 1949, and we’re the longest continuously operating trampoline manufacturer in the world.
- The bed is the heart of it. We twist the yarn, hand-string it and weave it on our own looms in Carnegie, then paint it with our rubberised coating. We’re the only weaver of 2-string beds in the Southern Hemisphere, and our string beds carry the Australian Made logo.
- The frame is built from Australian steel, 100 × 50 mm RHS, hot-dip galvanised after fabrication.
That’s the honest version: beds woven here, frames from Australian steel. It’s a short sentence, and we’re proud of every word in it.
Will you install it in Melbourne?
We make trampolines. We don’t usually dig or install residential kits ourselves, but in Melbourne and regional Victoria we can usually put you in touch with an installer who’s happy to do the work. Or use your own builder or landscaper, or do it yourself: every kit comes with the drawings and the assembly sequence. Not difficult, just niche.
In-ground is the one most of our customers choose. The frame sits in a pit with its legs concreted in, the rubber surround sits flush with the lawn, and the trampoline becomes part of the garden.
The kit price is the trampoline, not the installation. Pit, concrete, drainage and labour cost money whoever does the work, so we publish install-only figures on our Installation page.
I'm in Sydney. Can I still get an in-ground Mr Trampoline?
Yes, and it’s the same trampoline a Carnegie family drives home with: the same handmade 2-string bed, the same 11-inch springs, the same hot-dip galvanised Australian steel frame. It just takes a truck ride first.
Getting it to you. Stock kits typically ship next business day. A complete kit travels as one solid skid of 230 to 250 kg, by forklift delivery to your address or to a freight depot near you. Depot pickup is usually the cheapest, and includes free storage for up to 5 working days. Enter your postcode on any kit page for a live price. If none shows, call us and we’ll quote it by hand.
Getting it in the ground. Most interstate customers use their own builder or landscaper. Hand them our in-ground installation guide and the builder’s specification, which cover the pit, the concrete and the drainage. Adam can supply drawings, and we’re happy to talk to your builder directly. If you’d like help finding someone, ask us and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible in your area.
Our beds already work hard in NSW. Australia’s aerial ski and snowboard athletes train on our competition-grade string beds with the Olympic Winter Institute at the NSTC in Jindabyne.
And the rest of Australia?
Same deal. Kits and parts go everywhere, freight is quoted from your postcode, and your own builder or landscaper installs from our guides. Parts travel by ordinary parcel freight, so a new bed can cross the Nullarbor in a box.
“Not only could they provide the exact same size mat but organised appropriate new cushions.” (Steve Henderson, WA, Google review)
How quickly will it arrive?
| What you’re buying | When it leaves us |
|---|---|
| Standard-size kit or bed in green or blue | Pickup the same day; shipped typically the next business day |
| Stock parts (springs, rubber, mat paint, hardware, hanger clips, repair kits) | Dispatched within 2 business days |
| Custom size or colour | Made to order; we confirm the build and dispatch time when you order |
Parcels usually arrive 3 to 7 business days after dispatch, depending on where you are. Kits go by freight on a skid. Freight is calculated at checkout from your postcode, so you see the real cost before you pay.
Can I get parts for an old Mr Trampoline, a Steelfast, or another Aussie 2-string?
Yes. Everything on a Mr Trampoline can be renewed, whatever its age, and that includes trampolines built under the Steelfast name. Buy it once. Hand it down.
- Beds: re-woven, re-coated or replaced. New beds arrive with the hanger clips already in.
- Springs: 7, 9, 10 and 11-inch, sold one at a time, so you order exactly what you need.
- Hanger clips: stainless steel, and re-used from one bed to the next.
- Rubber and padding surrounds: made to your frame.
- Frame components and fittings: off our factory shelves.
- Mat paint and repair kits: a broken string is a small job, not a new bed. We send spare string to DIYers free.
How long should a bed last? Re-coat it every 3 years and expect 20 to 25 years. Leave it unloved and you’ll get 10 to 12. The warranty is 8 years, on condition of that 3-yearly re-coat. That’s the formal promise; a looked-after bed goes well past it.
“After 15 years, my 2-string Aussie bed finally gave up the ghost… really happy to find the folks at Mr. Trampoline.” (Noah Eckert, Google review)
Do you service trampolines?
In Victoria, yes, and we’ll come to you. A visit can cover a pit clean, a pump check, a look at the springs and strings, a fresh coat on the bed, and fitting new parts while we’re there. A service takes about half a day. We book about a week ahead, Monday to Friday, and group visits by area.
Outside Victoria, we can find contractors we’ve dealt with who can service it competently. And wherever you are, send us a photo: we’ll tell you what you’re looking at and send the parts.
For a home trampoline, a service check every 3 to 4 years is plenty. Pair it with the 3-yearly bed re-coat, which many owners do themselves.
“Called to get our pump serviced 10 years after install… Ren came out on the day to service.” (Rebecca A, Google review)
Can I come and see one made?
Any weekday. Every Mr Trampoline is handmade in Carnegie, Melbourne, with a 30-year frame warranty and every part replaceable. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
