For venues & operators · Handmade in Melbourne since 1949

Built for venues that never stop bouncing.

Trampoline parks · Venues · Elite sport

Every mat is made by hand in Carnegie. Every install is engineered to survive the public.

A backyard trampoline sees one family. A commercial trampoline sees thousands of jumpers a week, every week, for years. That’s why Australia’s biggest venues, elite training centres, schools and resorts come to the same workshop — ours.

Compliance

The standards we build to — and helped write

When Standards Australia drafted the rules for trampolines, they asked the people who’d been making them since 1949. Click any standard below to see what it covers and what it means for your venue.

The Australian Standard for trampoline safety: structural integrity, spring and mat performance, padding coverage, entrapment prevention and labelling. We sat on the drafting side of this standard, so passing it isn’t a hurdle for us — it’s the baseline our workshop was already building to.

Every Mr Trampoline mat, frame and spring set is made and tested against AS 4989 in Carnegie before it leaves the workshop.

The standard governing commercial trampoline parks: court layout, wall and pit design, impact attenuation, netting, signage and the test methods used to prove it all. We contributed to the working drafts of AS 5159 — the same documents still sit in our files — which is why parks like BOUNCE build with us.

Our commercial installs are designed to AS 5159.1 from the first drawing, not retrofitted to it after inspection.

Beyond the published standards, every commercial project ships with its own compliance pack: engineering certification for structures and access platforms, materials specifications, installation records and a maintenance schedule — the paperwork your building surveyor, insurer and safety auditor will ask for.

It’s the same documentation package we’ve supplied for venues from the Australian Open to national training centres.

When BOUNCEinc opened Australia’s first trampoline park in 2012, Mr Trampoline built its trampolines — and our Adam Richards was among its founders. The parks that followed set the standard for the industry, and our beds are still the ones the busiest venues call for.

Mr Trampoline’s CEO was a founding shareholder of BOUNCEinc and retains a shareholding.
