Mounting: in-ground vs deck vs above-ground
Which mounting is better? It depends on the garden, not the bounce: all three share the same bed and springs. In-ground sits flush in a pit with the lowest fall height, but needs digging and drainage. Above-ground stands about 1.0 m and can move. Deck bolts to a structural wall. Odd-sized yard? We build custom too. In-ground vs above-ground vs deck
In-ground — flush pit + rubber surrounds; landscaper favourite. In-ground kit
Above-ground — ~1.0 m free-standing with padding; moveable. Above-ground kit
Deck / in-deck — bolted to structural wall or engineered deck. Deck kit
We manufacture the kit in Carnegie — install labour is separate. If you need a hand finding someone for the site work, ask us. Routes and bands: Installation.
Why choose Mr Trampoline (performance + durability)
- Warranty first: 30 / 8 / 5 with 3-year re-coat condition on the bed
- 11-inch springs — up to 114 on Olympic Elite; soft deep bounce
- Hot-dip galvanised Australian steel frames; handmade beds in Carnegie
- Every part replaceable — maintain in service, don’t bin the unit
- 1000 kg tested capacity on the house range
- Commercial venues exist separately — venue design with AS 5159.1 in mind is not product certification

More on how the springs, the woven bed and the frame shape the bounce: What makes a trampoline bounce better?
Which size suits your yard?
The four sizes differ in two ways that matter on site: how long the frame is, and how deep. Family and Olympic are both 2820 mm deep. The two Elite sizes are 3070 mm — 300 mm more bed width, which is the difference most people notice underfoot.
- Family — 4625 × 2820 mm frame, 3660 × 1830 mm mat (12′ × 6′), 98 springs, 230 kg packed
- Olympic — 5250 × 2820 mm frame, 4270 × 1830 mm mat (14′ × 6′), 110 springs, 240 kg packed
- Family Elite — 4625 × 3070 mm frame, 3660 × 2130 mm mat (12′ × 7′), 102 springs, 240 kg packed
- Olympic Elite — 5250 × 3070 mm frame, 4270 × 2130 mm mat (14′ × 7′), 114 springs, 250 kg packed
Measure against the frame external figure, not the mat — that is the hole, the deck cut-out or the footprint you actually need. Leave delivery access in your thinking too: kits ship as a single skid.
Olympic Elite is our biggest seller — 443 frames since November 2018 — and it is the one to choose if the room is there.
What the kit includes — and what it doesn’t
Every kit is the trampoline itself: frame, bounce bed, springs, rubber surrounds and all fixings. In-ground kits add the short legs you concrete into the ground. Above-ground kits add legs and bracing.
Not in the kit: excavation, the pit, drainage, concrete, timber decking, retaining structure, installation labour, or freight.
Freight is quoted live from your postcode on any kit page. Install-only figures (ex GST) for Family, Olympic and Olympic Elite are on the Installation page — ask us for Family Elite or deck quoting. We manufacture in Carnegie; in Melbourne and regional Victoria we can usually put you in touch with an installer who is happy to do the work. Elsewhere in Australia, ask us and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible for your area.
Surrounds: rubber or soft padding
Rubber surrounds are the landscaper’s default — firm, flush, long-wearing, and covered for 5 years on a residential install. Soft padding is thicker and more forgiving, which suits an above-ground frame where the edge sits at knee height.
Full kits include rubber surrounds. The figures below are the standalone prices, for switching to soft padding or replacing surrounds later (inc GST):
- Rubber surrounds — Family $1,965 · Olympic $2,110 · Family Elite $2,060 · Olympic Elite $2,185
- Soft padding surrounds — Family $2,885 · Olympic $2,980 · Family Elite $2,945 · Olympic Elite $3,040
The parts you’ll replace, and when
The bed is the wear part. Re-coating it with our rubberised paint every 3 years is a condition of the 8-year bed warranty, not a suggestion — miss the schedule and bed coverage is void. Beds, springs and clips are stocked for all four sizes, which is why a well-kept frame outlives several beds and a fifteen-year-old trampoline is a service job rather than a replacement.
Standalone prices, inc GST:
- Performance bed, clips inserted — Family $2,680 · Olympic $3,030 · Family Elite $2,985 · Olympic Elite $3,400
- Replacement bed, no clips — Family $2,430 · Olympic $2,780 · Family Elite $2,735 · Olympic Elite $3,150
- Spring set — Family $735 · Olympic $820 · Family Elite $735 · Olympic Elite $850
- Second set of clips — $90, any size
